His belief in classical music’s ability to strengthen communities and bring people together has driven his involvement in many creative projects in Houston and throughout North America.

Monarch Chamber Players: English Music For Oboe and Strings

This concert, presented by Lone Star College, will feature expressive and exciting works for Oboe and Strings written by English composers, including works by Edward Elgar, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Elizabeth Maconchy, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, and Benjamin Britten. David will perform alongside fellow Monarch Chamber Players musicians.

Wang-Dietz Duo at Memorial Classical Series Concerts

This concert supports Tong Wang and David Dietz’s upcoming cello-piano tour "Four Impressions of China," combining ethnomusicology research, public masterclasses, and recital performances at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The program includes works by Fazil Say, Alice Ho, and Beethoven.
