Asian Soundscapes: Piano Trios presented by the New World Symphony

  • New World Center 500 17th Street Miami Beach, FL, 33139 United States (map)

“Asian Soundscapes” invites audiences to explore the depth and diversity of Asian musical traditions through a curated chamber concert featuring works by composers from across Asia. Led by Singaporean Fellow Natalie Koh, this program celebrates the region’s rich cultural heritage and offers Miami's community a rare opportunity to engage with Asian-inspired classical and contemporary music. With pieces drawn from folk tunes, traditional poems, and innovative new compositions, including an electronic trio by Singaporean composer Jia Yi Lee and a new chamber work by Korean Violin Fellow Ye Jin Min, “Asian Soundscapes” promises a unique sonic journey blending the old with the new. Personal storytelling components will further enhance this immersive experience, connecting Miami’s audiences with Asia’s cultural diversity while providing a meaningful platform for Asian voices in the classical music world.
